Q. What are the arrival and departure times?
A. Arrival is possible from 1pm and departure is by 12.00 noon.
Q. Are campfires allowable?
A. Disposal BBQs and contained fires (ie: raised fire pits) are allowed, but you will need to bring any wood that you require. We do not permit fires on the ground as this kills the grass.
Q. Do you hire out windbreaks?
A. We don’t have any windbreaks for rent. We do allow them to be put up, there is no charge, but you must consider other customers when placing your windbreak as not to block anyone’s view or access.
A. Where can I buy camping gas bottles?
Q. We don’t sell camping gas, but local garages may do.
Q. Does it cost more to bring a large tent?
A. Our pitches are 5m x 5m and this must include your guy ropes
Q. Do you offer electric for tents or trailer tents?
A. Sorry we dont offer electric for tents or trailer tents only motorhomes, caravans or campervans.
Q. Is there any recycling facilities ?
A. Yes, we recycle glass, metal (all cans), paper/cardboard, plastics.
Q Are dogs welcome?
A. You can book to bring your dog(s), there is a charge per dog, per night. They must be on a lead at all times.
Q. Are babies and toddlers welcome ?
A. You can book to bring children (including babies and toddlers) they are each charged for as an additional people, per night.
Q. Do I need any coins to operate the showers?
A. No, the showers and facilities are free to customers and their cost is included in the cost of your stay.
Q. Can I pay on arrival ?
A. We operate a pre-payment only booking policy. Sorry we do not accept non-booked customers. All bookings must be paid for prior to arrival.
Q. Are there any banks nearby?
A. The nearest banks are located in Whitby. The nearest cash machines are Robin Hood’s bay (in the Post Office) , Sainsbury’s on the way into Whitby or Co-op in Whitby.
Q. Where are the nearest food shops ?
A. There is a Sainsbury’s on the way into Whitby, Co-op in Whitby and a variety of takeways in Whitby.
Q. Where are the nearest pubs?
A. There are many pubs (including family pubs) in Robin Hood’s Bay around 30 mins walk from the farm. There are also a variety of pubs and restaurants in Whitby.
Q Are there any freezer facilities available at the campsite?
A. There are freezer facilities at the campsite located by the pot washing facility.
Q. Are there any washing machine facilities at the campsite?
A. There are there is no washing machine facilities at the campsite.
Q. Is there a minimum length of stay?
A. Generally no, however, we do have a minimum 2 or 3 night stay at Bank Holiday periods.
Q. Do you take groups or group bookings ?
A. Sorry we dont accept groups or group bookings. You can have a maxiumum of 4 people in your booking or combination of bookings.
